Great, glad you’re all safely on Romanian soil and feeding yourselves ok 
Grant & Sarah arrived last evening at about 5:30 and we had a perfect day today on the ridge-run ...
I haven’t selected these, just dumped what I took today in an upload. You’ll probably see these again and a load more when Grant or Sarah posts them on their unknown destinations thread...

Grant & Sarah’s 80 hauling up the last steep climb on the Ridge-Run...
That shows far better just how steep that part is.
A little run out today after a lazy late start, and we managed to get some altitude which is always a blessing on a warm day...
A few snaps of Bolboc reservoir and then the view from the old quarry at the top...
We got about 2/3 along the route when we saw @David ‘s Facebook post that he was not far from the house, so we headed back to welcome his arrival...

Too true, he got a bit wound up queuing through Busteni, it’s a known regular bottleneck...

Yep, we had a BBQ up there last year IIRC, didn’t we?
It’s a bit like flying being up there...
The Ridge-Run today, just as good as it was when we went with Grant & Sarah the other day... but this time more of a convoy...
Normally, we’d go one way and return on the National road, but this time we did an about turn at Azuga to avoid @David ‘s favorite traffic queue, and did the run in reverse.
7 hrs in total all offroad
