connecting to coolant a webasto heater

Got another minute...
The main fan will run on full blast if connected directly, that is 12 Amps, 144 watts. I.e. the resistance is 1 ohm. I used two 1 ohm resistors in series, giving 4 amps, which is still a bit on the high side, not really needed. I used two webasto resistors - cost a fortune. TBC

So maybe 3 ohm resistance is best? 3amps? or would 2amps be even better to slow it right down?.. thanks

Id be interested in seeing how you connected the hoses from the 1.4kw viscous, did you use straight hose or buy bends? I would like to leave the standard length hose to the matrix and connect that direct to the output of the webasto then make up the rest to return, then if I need to pull the webasto out for servicing its as simple as just reconnecting the hose back on to the Viscous.
