hi All,
Wonder if you guys can help me?
One of the fanbelts on Truckasaurus blew a while back, so she's been sitting idle for a while. She's a '94 Diesel 12v - L68 WPN.
I'm due to get her rust sorted out soon, so she needs to drive soon!
I bought the fan belts from roughtrax4x4, but seems the one I'm supposed to use is too long... so now I'm stumped!
The one which tore apart is the:
Gates Auto Master 6479MC
This is the belt which is on it's own - not the double belts which sit together.
But when I look online I get a different size.... When I put the one I got onto the pulleys there was too much slack, even when pushing the right hand pulley as high as I could get it....
Does anyone have an easy reference number to hand, or a website page I can look at?
Don't mind paying for Toyota part if I have to - just want to get this sorted as I'm starting to feel like a neglectful keeper!
I'm sure I'm missing something - but this is my first time doing this, so be gentle ;-)
Many thanks in advance,
Gareth
