Diesel model has different amount off power in different countries

Hi All

I have a LC 200 TD 2012 model with only 173 kw
why does the models in other countries have more power and what can i do to get the same amount off power ?

The power limit could be down to the laws of the destination market, possibly derived from noise/emmision regulations or other factors. It's the same with many vehicles. Here in the UK you can walk into a showroom and buy a 200+bhp motorcycle but the same model in some European countries will be restricted to less than half that.
