Engine cut out after service
Hi guys…I seek for some advices please
Problem : after an full service (oil/filters)
I need to mention this: after I changed the fuel filter I didn’t primed fuel into fuel filter as it was first time for me when I changed the filter on this car so I try to start the car for 10 times with engine trying to start (I’m so stupid sometimes) after this tries I looked on YouTube and educated myself and primed the diesel and the lc started with no problems.
I drived the car for 1 week after all o this approx 200 miles and
after that the issues start to appear…starts and cuts out in 1 second just cut out in middle of junction waited there for AA meanwhile I started to look around for issues disconnected the batteries that didn’t work, disconnected all the plugs from fuel filter and Maf sensor that didn’t work either at one point the car started from no where and I drive it home with no issues . Next day try to start the car same problem stars and cuts out after one sec called the aa again and this time they arrived but unfortunately didn’t find out what is it on tester is no issues at all just said is someting regarding to diesel..anyway.
one mobile mechanic changed the scv valve that didn’t work and look like it make it worse..when I spin the key the engine looks like is trying to spin after 1 or2 seconds but before doesn’t have that lag.
Also I changed again the fuel filter.
Now after all of this I’m looking for an specialised Toyota mechanic or Land Cruiser specialist or someone with fuel circulation knowledge I’m based in Hertfordshire and looking something around or a mobile mechanic.
