I think the seeds are sown for dissolution of the union whether Britain quits or not which is something to consider . When the break up comes it will bring with it another financial crash perhaps the worst the world has ever seen , if Britain broke loose now would we not be in a strong position to mimic China's rampant acquisition of assets when the crash came .

Barack Obama is the president of the United States, what he does and says will be primarily for the benefit of the USA and it's

people not necessarily for Great Britain, bear that in mind when you hear his words. He's not here to do us any favours.

He's a great one to advise others on what's best, he hasn't done too well himself.

Despite his advisers telling him at least 50% of Brits will hate him for it its not the American way to involve themselves unnecessarily in something like this unless the outcome is a forgone conclusion me thinks . Imagine a British PM rolling into congress and telling them how to run their affairs, they would have a fit. If the US want the UK to remain it's because it suits the US, nothing more nothing less. Obama shouldn't even be allowed an opinion on this. Although I think he may have been reading from Camerons script.
