eu in or out poll

Im self employed, i get nothing. I like it this way, im master of my own destiny. I expect nothing so im never disappointed.

On the employment theme, i find it hard to believe we need to import a worker to throw a cabbage into a plastic bag when we have a prison population of 80000 and nearly 2 million unemployed. Someones not thinking too hard somewhere...

Call Cameron what you will but I think one thing you can't call him is stupid, I would say everything he says or does will have been carefully considered by himself and his advisors.

With some of the preposterous threats the remain camp have been saying we are going to suffer from in my opinion have done nothing but increase the number of leave voters.

I think Dave's whole intention is to get a leave vote.

Yes yes I know that's ridiculous but think of the massive bargaining power that will give him in Brussels to negotiate a better agreement.

The referendum is just a glorified opinion poll it is not legally binding, it would be two years before we actually left the EU if it was to go ahead anyway, all of that time would be spent in Brussels negotiating.

Whatever the outcome of the referendum I'm sorry to say I don't think we will be leaving the EU.

I hate to say it . . But the murder of Jo Cox is a gift to the 'Remain' camp.

The nutter with the knife and gun is now being hailed as a "Brexit Campaigner", There will be a large sympathy vote for 'Remain' as Jo was campaigning for it.

I have a nasty feeling that the Government and the Labour Party officials are making the most of the attention.

I may just be a cynical old 'B', but the senseless murder of a lovely girl is likely to be used by the Politicians for their own ends.

Bob.
(sent my 'Leave' Postal Vote off last week :icon-wink:).

Where did you read the killer was a Brexit Campaigner? I've not seen anything like that, it could just be a ruse from the remain camp.

I think campaigner is off the mark. But reportedly shouting "Britain first" before killing her, and giving his name in court as "death to traitors, freedom to Britain" might suggest his sympathies and maybe some of his influences lie on that side of the debate.

Personally I don't think anyone should judge remain or stay on the actions of someone who is clearly unhinged. Anymore than I think the actions of other unhinged killers should influence our thinking of groups they bear a loose affiliation to.

I was just wondering who it was who had hailed him as a "Brexit Campaigner",

They are painting him as a retard nazis sympathizer (with the underlying suggestion he is a typical Brexiteer) funny how his neighbors are saying stuff like "yeah he used to cut my mums grass nice fella" kids in his area say he was a nice bloke but he used to get annoyed when we all gathered and sat on his wall .

I also read somewhere that he used to teach immigrants to speak English at a college .

Allegedly allegedly allegedly :icon-rolleyes:

There was a news item on 'Talk-Talk' earlier today (OK, its Huffington Post) which showed a newspaper front page claiming the killer was acting for 'pro-Brexit'. I don't remember which paper it was and the current list of 20 news stories has changed and its no longer there. The paper wasn't one that I recognised.

I realise that a sample of one isn't good, statistically, but someone out there seems to be publishing the story (thought?) as fact.

Thanks Bob.

You don't need to look very long or hard across the internet to see a lot of ultra right wing views being posted by BREXIT supporters. Whatever comes out about Jo Cox's killers motives I suspect supporting BREXIT won't be one but its easy headlines for the press.

Cast my vote today but was immensely disappointed the Vote BEAVER wasn't an option :( And no I'm not telling anyone how I voted, its my business and nothing to do with anyone else

Thanks Bob.

Found it (it took a while!):

The star, and fact, in general dont share the same sentence..

Autocar has now waded into the mix with a bit of a rehash of a press release (I suspect)

"Volkswagen-owned Bentley, which has enjoyed more than £1.5bn of investment since 2001 and last year made 4000 cars with around 10,000 employees."

I think those numbers might be the wrong way round. Bentley say they have 4000 employees Worldwide. 3600 in the UK. https://www.bentleymedia.com/page/category/9/
Haven't checked how many cars they make. You'd think a motoring publication might have doubted the figures though.

Ah well! if you believe anything in that newspaper . . . . . . .

Some headline grabber whos name i cant remember nor be bothered to look because she doesnt deserve any of my time. Has decided to switch sides due to a racist and xenophobic campaign. The favourite language of the left. Now i obviously dont condone the above, but this is about voting to stay or leave the eu. How can the behaviour of some dick heads make her change her whole view on europe?
yet again the left when not getting there own way resort to the race card.
