I really like the car that Land Rover (for reasons best known to themselves) never made: the Discovery pick up. There are various aftermarket kits and they all look great in my opinion ( I was never that taken with the stepped roof of the Disco!):

If it HAS to be a 90 series landcruiser, you could get one of these dreadful-looking Aussie conversions. I'm sure they're very good if you need one but they ain't lookers. And why bother when there are hi-luxes in the world?

Not really built right for a pickup in my opinion. Would work better as a single cab with a longer bed. Or if you really want to do it right, lengthen the chassis and push the rear axle further back.
