Strange things going on . I just noticed in the recently renovated blue 80 that when I switch off the engine and remove the key the fuel guage does not switch off.

Any ideas of where I could start to fix this?

On my 90 it stays at the level it was at when ignition off, nearly sure it's the same on the 80 series as it is on most Japanese wagons.

Yep, it's the same on my 80.

Wow 3 years of ownership 50000 km of driving, 2 x 80's and I never realised....

At least my oil gauge goes to zero when I switch off... even though the fuel doesn't....

Oil gauge goes to zero too. I took the pic just as I switched the engine off...
