Fuel Temp Sensor - where is it???

Hi guys

I have a fault code that relates to the FUEL TEMP SENSOR.

Where on earth is it located???

Is a fuel temp sensor the same as a fuel pressure sensor???????

Why are you starting a new thread???

Why not keep all the info in the same thread as someone new is never going to know if you got to the bottom of your problem or not you mentioned in the start.

It would help if you also gave us more info one the model you drive is it petrol or Diesel, what year etc.

You should be able to find what you need and where on ToyoDiy.com or in the FSM which you can download above in the service tab.

Best I can see on schematics is under the bonnet, passenger side, near the engine. It's a near-useless diagram.

On the injection pump.

Resistance around 2 Kohm around 20 deg celsius. Resistance goes up at lower temps, and down to under 1 k at higher temps. Around 300 ohms at 100 deg C.
(Handbook says to check it the same way as the water temp sensor.)
