That reminds me of when I took a cat to be 'doctored' and I asked the vet what did he actually do, he said they anaesthetise the relevant area then use an instrument like a pair of nut crackers, I kid you not.

What's been seen cannot be unseen. That looks like they chopped the balls off entirely. I never actually saw the instrument, but the poor pussy didn't lose his balls they just withered away, It was a real shame though because he had had a marvellous way of strutting about with his tail up and his balls sticking out before the op.

The jaws only meet at the sides, theres a gap in the middle, they're not sharp. They work by crushing the blood vessels.
