Hi all,

Owen here. New to the forum and looking ultimately for a 70 series to get into Land Cruiser ownership.

My previous 4x4 ownership was 16,000km in a lifted Hilux 4Runner around Oz for a while.

Loved it but would now like to upgrade ;)

If anyone knows of any LWB 70 series going, would love to hear from you!

Looks like a great site, look forward to having an explore.

Based in North Wiltshire.

Cheers
Owen

Welcome Owen, lets hope you get a 70 series soon, there is a "slippery slope" you know,

Owen if you have the budget there is a cracking overland ready 70 series but it's not cheap. If you search for "Tonka" if should come up.

Welcome Owen,

We're a strange lot on here mind you, so have patience:lol:

Good luck with the 70 hunt...

Welcome to the club.

70's rock!

How much of OZ did you see? 16,000km is a good distance! :flags-australia:

Thanks fellas.

Ben I was reading your build thread with interest.

We went all over the south really, from Sydney out across the outback NSW, through SA, Eyre Peninsula, Nullarbor, WA, Margs, Esperance, Victoria, etc. Was an epic trip, got stuck on a beach with an incoming tide, snapped a prop shaft off the rear diff crossing 300km of unsealed road in WA past the salt flats, all sorts!

Wiltshire doesn't compare really.

Owen

Sounds like one hell of an adventure!

Yeah it was a great time!

Could anyone link to a thread for common faults/things to look out for with the 70 series?

Thanks
Owen
