Happy Boy!

the engine warmer has a timer , pre set times but its adjustable so you have it come on when you want ie 0700 and set it to run for 30-60 mins :) the cab heater needs to be switched on from a switch on the control unit - still, I can manage that I think.....lol

@froggy Steve .....stop fecking about with it! Pull it out and post over to me, I will soon work it out. :icon-biggrin:

Regards

Dave

Just a quick question - it has a Viair heavy duty system on board - I bought a new hose with 1/4 bsp fittings, but I dont seem to be able to plug into the system with the male bit (normal problem with males apparently) the female bit doesnt allow a lock......so, is it a different fitting or what?

Post up a photo Steve. I have a Viair compressor fitted to mine and they seem to fit the fittings in reverse to normal. Have you tried pulling back the collar on the female while pushing it onto the male?

Yes, the collar doesn't seem To fully come back after release so the male bit falls out. Is It a different sized fitting ?

Nice truck Steve i might have gone into a bidding war with you over that if its manual but hey enjoy it .

When i was looking for 1/4 fittings to go with my new compressor i found all sorts and eventually just going by internet pictures i made a call and they said yeah these are Euro standard ? they fit though .

Thanks Charlie - it appears they are NPT rather than BSP ....I will get a couple of coupler bits :)

Looking good Steve, same colour as my old 80, in some lights it shows all the metallics and others it even looks black....

NPT not always easy to get here. But if you use BSPT plastic / composite fittings, they will squash enough to seal. The threads are only very slightly different but if you use steel or brass, they won't seal. I'm sure you'll find some but just in case .....

It is green but in some lights can look black...
