Hello. can I join you all

is it the 4 speed box ?
it has the facelift nicer badge on it that came on the change over year if i remember correctly.
It has some goodie bits on it but no its a 3 speed with over drive, it did have 18" wheels but I removed them and put on 16" with 275.70.16 BFG's AT KO. much better.

someone must have spent a bit on it over the years to make it look a bit newer. a fair few run the smaller rims.

I work in a well known Pasty Bakery in Cornwall but live in Devon.
Have ha cruisers for 20 years, a 40, 2 80’s a 61 and now a 60.
I have spent a couple of years baselining it to get everything working properly and leak free. Replacing panels and chopping out rust is an ongoing saga.
Upgrades are new OME suspension, LED headlamp bulbs, BMW X3 front seats and seat belts, new stereo / aerial / speakers / rear camera, hilux front calipers, snorkel.
A few more mods planned, and to get the last thing fixed which is the intermittent setting for the rear washer.
Want to keep it standard looking and use for camping / touring trips so need to keep the weight down to a minimum as its under powered already.

Yes gynecology was an interest when single but got married and reformed.

Well good you hear from all around the world it seems, and to get to know a bit about the people who look in on the club world. I'll let you see the full truck soon just in case you don't know what one looks like.

Well Ted, seeing as you ask, I’m a commercial/industrial Electrician with Refrigeration experience (among other things). I drive a 1994 HDJ81 in red and use it for work every day, though I try not to work every day these days and have added a roof tent and camping gear to use it for some leisure time. The drawer system I have built in the back is dual purpose for camping and work though the work side isn’t fully finished yet.
Tip- You’ll find what most people drive in their signature line below each post (in portrait if using a smart phone to view). We encourage this as it helps folks give help for the specific vehicle if they can without constantly asking what vehicle it is.

Best wishes
Rich

Hello Geoff hope you had a good time away from a warm and sunny place did you go somewhere cold just to feel better when you got home, I don't know anybody in Exeter don't think I've even been there. is it a rough place?

Yeah terrible! I was chased outta town by the sheriff, talk about Wild West!!! :violence-ak47:

Went to Amsterdam for a week and the first day was lovely but after that, we both walked around in fleeces - sometimes with rain jacket on top just to keep the wind and cold out! But were are pretty soft now! Of course, as you would expect, the weather improved the day we left. Ho Hum :icon-cool::icon-cool:
