How to get the high level brake light off?

I'm investigating a suspect water leak from high up on the tailgate and want to inspect the HL tail-light - does anyone know whether on the 100 Series it is held in place with a adhesive foam strip or is it a push fit assembly - do i prise it off from the outside?

Hi,
IIRC it is held on with 2 10mm head nuts accessed from behind the lamp, lift the upper tailgate to see the holes covered by rubber grommets, the nuts are under these.
The only bind is, it is also held in place with an adhesive sealing strip to keep the water out, it will take some persistence to free it without damaging the lamp or surrounding paintwork.
