........when I decided to move and paint my number plate light.

Went from this:

To this:

I didnt actually plan to go this far with it, it went something like this in my head:

I want to change the numberplate and move the number plate light
Whilst Ive got the light off I might as well paint it
I think it might look a bit naff if I paint over the embossed writing
I know Ill fill in the writing
It looks a bit bland with no writing now
I could laser cut a piece with TOYOTA and cut it in
Hmmm I can now see through it, how about a red lens?



Unfortunately some of the LEDs in the middle of the strip have stopped working (hence the dim Y), Ill probably replace the LED strip with a cathode tube at some point but other than that Im well chuffed with it.

Don't ussually do bling, but I think that looks good.

In general I cant stand bling (in fact Im trying to eradicate all traces of chrome on the Cruiser) and as I said this wasnt what I originally planned but I like the end result. Its pretty subtle with the lights off and shows up as a nice unique feature with them on.
