Inverter question (really basic).

So in effect the jumpers are not doing anything but rather just being stored there waiting to be used by bridging 2 of the pins.

Thanks ill just stick them back on any of the pins BUT just one pin and not bridge 2.

Any idea what the little blue knobs do?

So under the seat not the best idea.

And it has to be mounted vertically, with 2" of space around it.

Its going to be in the back, so a bigger cable (say 50mm2).

Fiddly devils, arent they!

Hi Pete,

It was very easy to blow a 170 amp fuse.
It will be replaced with a 200A fuse.

I guess 50mm welding cable would be ideal,.

Cable rated at circa 300A

HOWEVER

In my brothers Land Cruiser, with the same 2000 watt inverter he has 35mm cable
http://www.r-techwelding.co.uk/Welding_ ... CABLE_35MM
Cable rated circa 200A

Even with 35mm cable, the length of time your going to be pulling 200A out of the batteries, (max for 35mm cable) I guess the batteries would die, before the 35mm cable gets warm.

If there was a never ending supply of 250A from "some where" then better sticking to 50mm cable.

Gra.
