It’s been a while since I participated within the forum, for various reasons generally around changes in life, my poor old 80 becoming an ornamental fixture in my driveway due to a change in job, moving house and the farcical LEZ in Aberdeen, but today bring the end to my ownership of the old girl.
The new owner has his own vision and plans to return her to a standard look, a big overhaul and return to factory blue.

For me, its been the best forum I’ve joined, lots of help, no judgement and some decent humor, thanks for it all!

I may be back, but if so it will be to join the 40 brigade!

All the best!

John

I remember viewing that years ago somewhere in the North west, Liverpool way I think. Really good truck, should have squirrelled it away.

Was that the one with a crazy bull bar ? If so I remember saying its been loved so thats half the battle when you were considering buying it .

thats a shame..
all the best for the future Jake. that pic needs a trigger warning though, a 100 towing an 80..

Yes Shayne, it certainly was! Hard working truck here, I kept the hoop and welded it to the winch bumper while that was on, before going back to the std bumper

Haha! For the want of tax and test she would have driven up to her new home no problem!

It will be living just to the left of the most northerly point of the uk mainland now

Cheers!
