J120 fuel warning light

New to land cruisers and the forum but love the truck
Just a few niggles, my fuel warning like does not come on when I start up, any ideas ?

The fuel filter might have water in it, try to drain it or replace the filter, it's on the right side of the engine compartment when you are in front of the car.

Cheers for that, had the filter and housing replaced as the primer degraded and let air in so don't think it's that
Would a fault on the tank sensor still give me a level in the tank but not turn on the low fuel light ?
