Struggling to get them balanced as everywhere I go they say the hubs are too large for their machines. Last place said not to bother I would be wasting my time as they're so large the tyres. I had my wheels refurbished they mounted the tyres.Good price on the tyres, incidentally, how much did it cost you to have the tyres mounted and balanced?
Dyna beads were brilliant when I used them on an Toyo MR2 and had that going hell for leather round Nurburgring but they didnt work when I tried them on my Mitsi Shogun. I've always had balancing issues on knobbly tyres and to TBH the beads are not cheap and you'll need about 6oz per tyre due to the size. Problem is if they don't work you'll still have to get the wheels balanced at a fitters. I'd say yes for a regular road tyre but not for AT or MT but JMO.Some people have used dyna beads and say bit wobbly up to 20mph but after that no problems maybe some users might be able to give more information with their experience of dyna beads
Would have been a lot easier had some of the screws not rusted in. Didn't want to spray anything on to loosen them as I was about to paint so took a bit more prep time when painting. It is possible to unscrew all surrounds on the lights. Didn't remove all chrome i just sanded to roughen up for the primer. Following the instructions on the spray paint had to wait 24 hours to harden between different coatings so took me 4 days.Do like the black front end, how much of a headache was removing the chrome and sanding painting it?
