Nice 80 with LPG

This is the one that I want. I emailed him a couple of days ago to see if he could do anything about the distance between us but he did not respond.

It is on eBay too.

Perfect for me.

That does look like good value indeed

Just hop on the train Darrell!!!
I wish it was that easy, it's a four hour bus journey to the train, that's after a half hour ferry crossing.

I was just asking on the off chance he had a friend who was willing to drive it up, for a fee, or if he was coming to Scotland or fancied a weekend away etc etc.

I also read he is going to Mold very soon, that is a lot closer to me so I found a company in Mold that specialise in car delivery and asked for a quote from Mold to here. They never got back to me either.

Nobody said it was going to be easy

Yup, sounds like a big effort from up there but, not to sound patronising, sometimes a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do... ;)

It does look a nice truck

Close, Gigha.

It would take me 13 and a half hours using public transport and I would arrive there at 23.02

I can't do that, I am a knacker :D

If I wanted to spend my days wearing myself out travelling I would buy a defender

Just got a decent quote for delivery, I think I will buy this. Anyone know anyone who can inspect this?

Wow!
that was quick

we recently bought a 3yr old subaru forester from down near london, and didnt look at it or drive it beforehand, but it was from a subaru dealer.
and got them to transport it part way.
it is a pain buying cars when up in Scotland, and i dont like to buy cars from this area, as they are always rusty

I had to be quick, someone was coming to look at it this evening.

It was the only car in the UK (and I have looked at them all) that I seriously regretted not being able to get to. As it transpires, he never got my email.

Congrats Darell, that certainly looks like a great truck, you'll love it I'm sure, is LPG available on the island.

Nothing is available on the island.

But I think there is LPG in Campbeltown.

This truck will not go far, I only bought it because my Vito van (which I love) got stuck in the wet grass the other day as I just went on it to let another car past.

I also have a boat and no towhook on the vito so another job filled.

That's a bugger about the LPG, but I'm pretty sure the Cruiser will be able to cope with the wet grass

Cheers Lorin, for re-pointing this one out.
Glad you got it sorted Darrell. It does indeed look like a really good truck for the money
