Oil Light

2004 LWB 160k Miles. Oil warning light slow to go out - 5/6 secs, not instant. Injectors ? or clean out sump

I know nothing about the 120 series which is what I assume you have ? but I will guess you mean the light is slow to go out when you turn the ignition on and I wonder if its simply you need to top up . D4D 90 series oil light comes on before the dipstick hits the low mark .

Try a decent new oil filter

If not those things the pickup might be partly clogged. You can sometimes see the pickup through the drain hole to check. Might be an issue if someone has used the wrong oil at some stage.
