Pointless spammer stats

I was having a look at the spam log today as a new user sent me an email saying he could not register because he was considered a spammer. The size of the log was quite surprising.
Since installing it just under a year ago it has logged 305000 entries of both blocked and allowed registrations.

Unique email addresses allowed to register: 2685
Unique email addresses blocked because they're spammers: 186,677

Nearly 200k spamming attempts. Knobs.

Sounds like the anti spamming software is doing it's job then, well almost.

If I'm understanding this correctly, does it mean that if the anti spam ware stopped working, we would have had, in less than a year, 200k successful spam attacks on the Site?

Time to give it a raise I'd say!
