Little Bro's Vitara     Is in for its MOT tomorrow. finally a regular playmate. cant wait to get it off the tarmac. we've spen a lot of time and effort getting it where it is and we are both very chuffed. fingers crossed for the pass. some b4 and after pics up tomorrow and also some comparison pic between mine and his as well.

Wish us luck

Good luck fellas. always rated those Vitaras. very light tough little trucks. most impressed with what they can do.

Sorry to revive this thread, and I know its not actually Landcruiserish. But we finally got that sheet of green A4 paper we had been hoping for today. ended costing him another 250 at the garage including the MOT. Needed some welding and stuff that I just didn't have the time to do.

TAX on Friday then a 170 mile trip to Keswick the following Saturday. That should be a fun first run out. espicially for a chap used to driving an Impreza. Cant wait to get out on the lanes with him.

By the way does anyone think that a 12000lb Champion winch may be a tad excessive for the front end of it. A Friend of a Friend managed to get hold of 2 of them for us for a total of £100. got 1 on mine and the other is for bro's Vit. Just concerned that it will weigh mor than the rest of the car.

I still miss my vitara, it was a great little truck, mine still drove respectably on Tarmac even with a 6" lift twin transfer boxes etc etc

Trail Master Shocks. he is very pleased with them. ride is nice on the road. see what he says after 170miles to the lakes.

he needs to be careful with them tyres especially with the front chocolate diff ;)

looks good.

i recognise a few of those new parts as being from bits4vits.com. id recommend he gets one of there front recovery bars, or makes some thing similar. great piece of kit and mine stood up to a lot of abuse.
