The rear wiper motor on my 12v and 24v Do not work.. Im going to investigate this weekend, But was wondering if this is a common thing and what was best to look for... Dodgy wiring or do the motors just seize etc etc, Any ideas welcome..... Can they be stripped or are they sealed units.... Many thanks...

Oh Frank .......Calling Frank and his magic earth connection ...

Yes with mine the earth wire had corroded on the loom inside the tailgate frame. I assumed it had been dry in there but no. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree due to this but I had had wiper motor playing up. I was very lucky to find it so quickly. Obviously Higgy it might be something else.

Cheers frank... It will no doubt be something else... It never is as simple as a dodgy wire... But i can live in hope..

They tend to rot in the mechanism that passes through the tailgate and can burn the motor out.

Completely 'Fugged'. Got power to it but thats as far as my luck went...even the mechanism was seized solid ...So out it came ..... Never to return.

Ahh, definitely not an earth problem.

Sorted it with a 28mm Grommit Bunging the Hole...
