i have a 1997 petrol 4.5 LT EFI 80 series. Its fantastic
I purchased from a son in law whose mother had died, she drove it and she was in her 80s it was her car.
It came with no jack handel which is what i believe you need to wind down the spare wheel. I have looked to see if i can purchase for an 80 , but have not seen one.
The slot in my bumper seems to have a pin with a metal plate either side,when you look in, Are they all like this ,? and is this the only mechanisim that is used to lower and raise the spare wheel. ?
I was told that a 79 series also has the same jack end, but do not know if this is true.
Any info on this would be helpful.
I changed the tyres so now need to change the spare, but havent lowered the wheel.
