I plan to go for some Tough Dog shocks to replace the OMEs that are on the truck presently. The choice offered (2" lift) is the big bore externally adjustable
http://www.euro4x4parts.com/parts/utx1015-2187_shock_absorber_tough_dog_45_mm_adjustable.html
or the "Ralph" model with 53mm and velocity sensitive valving
http://www.toughdog.com.au/products/shock-absorbers/53mm-ralph/
Can anyone advise on the relative benefits/problems associated with the different design approaches of these two models. I understand the benefits of big bore.....it is more the velocity valving vs manual adjustment
There is nothing in the price it seems
