Troopy on historic plates?

Hi, just wondering if anybody runs a troopy on historic rego?

I'm looking for one for occasional use and figured if its 25 years old it could qualify.

Does anybody here have experience of this?

in the uk its pre 73 to get tax excempt but i heard they are thinking of extending that to 75. i dont know when they started to be fair.

Hi Stu. I meant it Aus, where 25yo vehicles can be registered through clubs for limited use. In theory it seems possible but I've never seen one on the road.

Which state are you in?

My boss has a few 4wd's on club/historic reg.

I'm going to put my 70 on it in a few years time.

You cant use the vehicle all the time if its on club reg, so for me it will be ideal as my LandCruiser is just a toy, so for the 3-4 times a month I get out in it it will be fine.
