same with the white 40 series pick up that's been on there for ages. really nice motor, but at the moment they just don't get the money he was asking for in the UK. Has come down a lot now, but still can't sell it.

Back in 1980 I had the chance to buy a low milage series 3 V12 E Type for £5000 in excellent condition. It was the FHC version and I could just about afford it but I really wanted a drop head roadster and convinced myself I could find one at a similar price (idiot) so passed up on the chance. Ended up with a XJ12 saloon. Hindsight.....if only!
