Who is doing what maintenance today?

Cleaned seats and carpets with rug doctor after cleaning carpets in a house.

Looks fresh again...if only I had remembered to do the door cards as well !!

Changed the engine, transfer case and diff oils. The transfer case and diff oils had done 20k since the last change (all Toyota gear oil). The old transfer case and rear diff oils looked fine, but the front diff oil looked like used engine oil - I think I will probably change this every 10k from now on. The front diff also had a little bit of brown sludge floating on top which I think is from the Salisbury plain trip. So my diff breather kit has just been promoted a few rungs on my to do list.

Looks good Gary, but aren't you going to paint the box section? :)

I'll bevy trimming the box down a bit today and then painting it up.

Lolly - I'd run some power into the back door before for 2,other LEDs in the top of the back door used to illuminate the door table, so junctioned into that.

Changed oil and fuel filter and broke the lead to the water level sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter sensor clean off so I cant repair it :angry-banghead:

Also replaced the low oil level sensor on the sump.

When warming up the engine before the oil change was surprised that the exhaust fumes smell a bit like BBQ smoke :?

Discovered loose steering arms cause a lot of mess if your diff seals are leaking.......
I'm resolutely refusing to rebuild this axle until winter :x

Replaced diesel injectors, replaced centre exhaust box, installed split charge wiring, installed navigation mount, removed old phone kit.
Fitted a new rear diff lock actuator, the longest part of the job was getting the top bolt to line up on the stone guard, seriously it was all sorted in less than 30mins. I think I was lucky, seeing as its been untouched since it left the factory.

Planned

Build new rear exhaust system
Strengthen rear bumper mounts
Service winches
Finish wheel carrier locking mechanism
Fix split charger
Make fridge slider
Finish rear drawer trims
Install new rear load area lighting
Clean out rad
Install 12v sockets
Install Anderson external jump leads

And some other stuff

Oh! they must be tacking on a few extra hours today, I missed that one

Chris will have that all sort before lunch, as he and Ben went halves on the time machine! :shh:

After 2 sessions of investigating and a half a tub of copper slip, I discovered the squealing coming from my front brakes was the pad wear indicator  :D

Changed the front exhaust pipe this morning for a Milner source one. It had been blowing for a while but broke right through while I was out and about yesterday

Oil and filter. I've decided to give Mobil 1 synthetic a go for a bit, 0W-40 to help those 'switch on and go' days.

Replaced the OS outer drive shaft and cv joint and also the wheel bearing. Replaced the seals on the OS brake caliper all re-assembled. No pics of this, but will take some of the NS as I have removed the brake caliper and wheel hub etc, so that I can give it the same treatment.

yesterday - finished off painting of rear axle, fitted new OME 892 coil springs, and refitted ARB and brackets are painting them

Removed and inspected the off side front hub, bearing was still fine so left as is. Replaced the brake calliper seals, refitted everything and bled the brakes.

Built a quadcopter with Crispin and Tony's help
(does that count :p)

I finally got round to jetwashing the truck after it's outing in May at Lincomb, (being a good boy when we had the hosepipe ban). After 2 hours washing I shovelled up 3/4 of a wheelbarrow of Worcesteshires finest. That stuff just sticks to whatever it touches.

I plan to do the interior next, not sure how many shovel fulls I will remove from there
