My gear selector feels somewhat stiff and there's a bit of a clunky when I shift out of P.

Once out of P (R-N-D) everything feels smooth.
I'm pretty sure it feels and sounds like it's coming from the gear selector rather than the transmission - almost feels like it's catching on something maybe, or there's something stiff that it has to move past.

Wondering if this is something easy to look at that someone recognises, or even normal perhaps? Before I waste time going to Toyota to have it looked at under warranty.

The 120 is famous(ish) for snapping a bit of plastic moulding that holds a pin and spring to let the selector hold in place. Or rather the pin gets very stiff and you can't get out of park so you pull hard and then the plastic snaps. There was a guy in Australia making a kit to fix it because the moulding was crazy expensive. I never bothered fixing mine and the only issue was it jumped out of the manually selected lowest gear. I haven't heard of this on the 150 though.
