Miles better than the current alpine unit of the same speck (had that as well)
I don't regret buying it - you get what you pay for
As for the rotary knob ?????
The volume goes up and down with the road noise and my steering wheel controls it fine
Only down side...
Your engine won't make much heat at holymoorside
They make loads of heat while on boost for long periods of time
Like the hill on the way
With the monska I run the rad completely shut off from air flow while off roading
To avoid the mud build up
But on the motorway without it it runs hot due...
after i lifted mine 2.5" and fitted 285 75 16s on ,i too had the problem with the arch/mud flap clearance so i cut loads out .it made it better but not right .
so i undid the rear bolt of the bottom wisbone (the ones for caster correction)and set it to fully out and left the front alone then...
just got a nice 2nd hand ep9 for the 95 but the wire is very short.
so looking for some good 10mm wire rope or the plasma type stuff.
or pointers on which plasma type one to get.

it came from a 3.0 petrol or the 2.5 td mk2 shogun
both have 4.875:1 ratios and same wheel stud patern. you will need the air pump aswell. on a lwb its under the rear seat and swb its in the n/s rear panal.
i also used police spec range rover springs aswell.
i swop my lj70 axle out for a shogun 3.0 petrol unit.
it didnt bolt straight in but it wasnt hard. plus you get rear disc
brakes and a locking diff. did it 5 years ago still no problems
