IF there had been ANY sort of problem, with so many engines around...there would have been a modified gasket around long ago. They did after all modify the 3.0 ltr head castings after so many cracked.

What size downpipe? I have two flanges from a 70....both have 97mm centres to the fixing holes. one has a 60mm pipe stub welded in and is flush on the top(not bad for corrosiion at all) one has a 54mm pipe and is finished proud by about 6mm (this one is pretty corroded) You are welcome to both...

Too true Roger, but the 80 series jack looks just like a hydraulic bottle jack ,but screw. Used mine yesterday for the first time, and must say that I was impressed with it. Shan't be rushing out to replace it just yet. Must get a spreader plate, for out in the field use though.

Used Milners twice now, once for the 70 and another for my 80, not had a problem with either.

Result..well done that 80breaker.

Nothin wrong with the BT phones. we have had the "BT Studio" system for years and never had a fault with them. Answerphone, volume control, 1 base/charger station and 3 sattelite stations, call any handset from any handset and a very good range on them.

Not going to lift at all though. They are designed to firm up suspension for towing.
