100 series rusty upper tailgate

Morning Folks. I have just bought a 2006 100 series. It seems in good condition, including engine [250k], bodywork and chassis. It has a good and thorough service history. However it has the dreaded rusty upper tailgate - on the underside where the lights / reversing camera are. Any advice / suggestions on how to fix this? Im near Edinburgh is anyone has a spare! I know main dealer were replacing under warranty. Dont know what year 100s though.
