Chris.
Many of the lanes that you drove are in this months Total 4X4 magazine.
Viv and I drove this route last Monday.
I believe the section you had to winch through was Battersby Plantation.
On the Total route this was driven downhill and was a case of gravity doing the work. Literally.
The section over Rudland Rigg was driven North to South i.e. up the rock steps. You drove down it.
You mentioned that you attempted to keep the group split but then you show video of 8 vehicles, both on a sealed road and on the tracks.
You drove up a route that required winching and inevitably further track damage and down a rocky section that didn't require any technical work. What was the point? Winching is for emergency use only. If you need it to get a group of vehicles through a section, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THERE.
To drive the lanes in this manner creates further ammunition for those who want to stop us. To advertise your antics just shows a couldn't care less attitude to the problems that responsible drivers will, and do, inevitably face.
Please don't respond with the well used comment "just having a bit of fun" as your fun is just another nail in the coffin.
