A bit of a leaving bash for Ben

Whens the big day?

You planning a bit trip for 2019 or just a holiday? :icon-cool:

Getting hitched 4 weeks tomorrow, 2nd Feb. What date's your flight out?

Laura's set up a saving plan that matures on her 30th (2019), we'd be looking at doing 3 months hopefully with lots of touring around. You'll have to let us know where you are and you can fire up the barbie for us ;-)

Fly out 31st of January.

Arrive in Melbourne 2nd of February.

So the first day of my new life down under, will be the day your getting married, awesome!

Well we will keep in touch through the club and facebook, but definitely give me a shout when your heading over.

If all goes to plan I will have built my house by then and have a driveway full of cruisers! :icon-cool:

Well Ben, I would really like to meet up with you, but you know I can't make it happen for Lincolm.
So I will leave it open for when your on this side of the world.
Aus. is a damn site closer than UK.

Gra

Thanks Gra. :icon-biggrin:

Give me a shout when you and Fay want to come to OZ for a holiday. :icon-wink:

Sorry guys/Ben doesnt look like I will make it. Mum has decided to come and stay with me while she recovers so Im going to have to make sure she doesnt do anything (if I leave her alone too long she will try and clean stuff!). Have a good one guys, send him off proper. Ben hope all goes well in Aus, you know if I get a chance to go to Aus Ill be pestering you to show me some trails. :)

Im sure uncle Jim could "lend" you some. ;)

No worries Dave. :icon-smile:

if I leave her alone too long she will try and clean stuff!

Thanks Dave.

Give me a shout if/when you wanna come OZ. :icon-biggrin:

Sorry I cannot make it Ben. I'm in London having scans on Thur and Fri so remind everyone to get their PSA checked every 12 months. Take plenty of maps with you and a compass!

My mothers side of the family moved to Aus in the 50's and have had a fantastic time so hope you enjoy the same. Mind you they did move there from Wales. NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH WALES . Just the rain.

Frank

Guys,
I will be away from the farm until 5ish, but will put the blue hilux in the field where you can camp. It is wet, so please use the obvious track I make to get in and out, rather than all make tracks.

Build a fire, take the turf off. The fire can be right by the lux, just move it before lighting, will leave keys under mat!

will also put a bag of hotmax there to get some good instant heat. Might need a fire lighter!

See you later.

No worries Frank, thanks. :icon-biggrin:

Tony thats great, much appreciated. Thanks.

A special thanks to Trev for organising it all, and to Tony for letting us use his land and for providing all the fire wood.

Really going to miss you guys, Lincomb and all our laning trips. :icon-cry:

Huge thanks to everyone who put money in towards my present.

And to Trev for wrapping it with the different layers of paper and making such a great speech as each layer of paper was removed. I wasnt expecting anything and was very touched by the awesome gift and kind words. :icon-surprised: :icon-biggrin:

They will last a life time and be very useful. :icon-biggrin:

And of course always remind me of that night. :icon-cool:

Really looks like a first class send off, for a first class bloke.

Gra.

Thanks guys.

Steven I think that comedy size shackle is going to cause laughs for many years to come.

I can just picture it now.....................................

Driving some crazy tracks some where in the middle of no where and some ones slightly stuck/needs to winch.

"Beno have you got a shackle mate?" (in an Ozzy accent of course)

"Sure thing mate, here you go!"

I'm glad you took pictures Steven because the mind boggles at what the gift from you and co. might have been if left to the imagination of those present last night!

Sorry I ended up rushing off without saying a proper goodbye or helping tidy up more but something came up that meant I needed to get a move on.

Was a great night and as always Steven was on top form.

No worries about leaving so quickly John, thanks for coming.
