I'm planning to put a DAB radio in the Collie. I have it already but would like to know if there is any particular make/ type of aerial that I should be looking for.
As David has said, it should work fine with the standard aerial. DAB operates at a shorter wavelength than commercial analogue FM but in good reception (most) areas the aerial isn't that critical. If you want or need an "active" (amplified) aerial then you will need a bespoke DAB antenna.
A through-the-roof type will always give the best reception. I have been very happy with the German make Antennentechnik. They have DAB aerials with different combinations including FM/AM, GPS, and even GSM/LTE/cellphone.
