Finding your old posts on this forum.

I've tried to find an old post of mine, (don't know the date) on this forum, but the old posts "storage" only seems to store the last 20 pages and no more.

The search facility on here is useless, so I can't search for it effectively.

Is there any way of accessing older posts that must be stored somewhere?

I usually look under my own profile to find posts I started or replied to - is that what you did? Not noticed any limitations before though?

And yes the search facility is a bit kak - Crispin posted somewhere about using Google search which is a better solution really. Not much to be done about search without replacing the forum s/w...

Yep tried that but only seems to store last 20 pages.

Thanks Ed, but shouldn't need to go to google to search for my posts.
There is an issue with the site only showing the last 20 pages of ones posts and not all of them.

The overall search function is another issue altogether and Paul- (Bat 21) suggested a solution.
