Did any one also see the maroon LC80 on Gumtree?

In the title, the seller says 108,k miles.
In the text body, he repeats 108k miles.

Then the picture of the speedo shows 208k miles.

There's a lot of this goes on and worst. I bought a mini cooper earlier in the year and was surprised about the number of scams. Emails back saying that i'm with the British army on manoeuvres for the next six months, the car is in army storage, make a paypal payment and the army logistics will deliver to you and if you don't like it there's a 100% refund! Others said the car is in France or Germany in storage and the shipping company will deliver once it's paid for. There were literally 15 - 20 cars, all mini's at not bargain, but competitively priced figures. I spoke to the on-line fraud dept of the police (Action Fraud) and they told me that the frausters were operating out of different places in Africa and that there was little that could be done about it. The Unwary are being caught out.
