Had a quick look at my seats this afternoon, and I defo have both the heating elements in the seat base and back. Poking around with a meter did not reveal anything interesting, but I have managed to find a Toyota inspection guide for the seats. Hopefully will get some time next week to test these out better.


Prices on Toyodiy for the elements are eye watering

At a guess, £300 parts + £250 labour + VAT.

We don't have/need seat heaters in the south of France

Followed the inspection plan, and it seems that I will need to replace some parts to get it working properly again.....
Both heater switches
Both seat cushion heater elements
Drives seat back heater element.

Got a quote from Mr T via out friendly parts man £1300

Let's just say the Mrs arse can stay cold!
