Intermittent wipers?

Hi All, anyone fitted an intermittent wiper kit to a bj or fj40 ? I got a kit here, but can’t make any sense of it, and supplier not much help, to start, is the motor 12v switched, or 0v switched? Any help appreciated, Regards
