Most accurate 80 series review ever

Seems to be missing the fun factor to me :?

It reads as I'd imagine it would have in the early 90s, written by an advertising exec in a suit (not a user) and not a current review.

It's also a bit annoying to hear the 80 Series (collectively) called FJ80, when there were AFAIK at least 4 engine versions, 4.0lt and 4.5lt petrols, 4.2lt diesel (HZJ) and the 4.2lt turbo-diesel (HDJ). I presume the author is American, but there's at least one HDJ in the photos, so FJ just grates IMO.

Otherwise spot on, but they forgot the "grin" factor

Well now that's a pretty good review, a little theatrical, flowery perhaps in places but it does paint a picture, exposes of the soul of the beast if you like not just its skin. Bloody hell, I'm doing it now!! The replies are quite funny too. He's clearly got a sense of humour the author. And it's recently written according to the date.
Some cracking photos in there too.
Thanks for sharing.
No fun factor…agreed.
