N22A2 CRV diesel engine removal out the top or bottom?

A long shot, but anyone on here know whether the I-CTDI engine in a 2005 HONDA CRV comes out through the bonnet opening or dropped out the bottom? fingers crossed its out the top! as I do not have a lift, and does the gear box stay attached though this scary process.
