us highways.
Looking at a 92 Prado 4 door with a
2LT-E
After an afternoon of reading, I am thinking it won’t like driving 72mph for 3 hours to my hunting camp. What do you all think?
I am in New Orleans
I have a rusty Fj62 and a snorkeled Fj cruiser
But I am really wanting to try a diesel and I love the look of the 70 series.

If you can get a 70 series most people drop a 1hdt or 1hdfte in them, it's easy enough swap and makes allot of difference.

Wish they sold the FJ in the UK I'd buy one as my daily diver.

So I just found an LJ70 with 90,000 miles 5 speed.
Which is left hand drive. No A/C but I can add a fj40 aftermarket kit?
Better than driving a RHD I’m guessing

Wow I didn’t know you didn’t get the FJ. Thanks for the reply

Aftermarket AC isn't that hard to fit as long as you have space for the condenser, yea we didn't get the FJ or the 105 (both of which I want).

Regarding the 70 mph speed, it will depend on the gearing. The motors aren't exactly a powerhouse but it will be fine doing highway speeds

Your FJ probably drives like a car and a quick google suggests your 60 runs a 3.9L cast iron gasoline bomb proof motor so both whilst being very different i'm sure both are a joy to drive for different reasons .

While i've no experience of any of the engines i know i would be asking myself the same question and i would expect a test drive to confirm my doubts on the 2LT .

So go go test drive it .
