Hi all, as the title suggests the rear hose on my 80 was on the limit of 'flexness'?.
Had hi-lift under the tow hitch area and the brake hose was at its limit really yet the the old procomp shockers still
had another 1.5" of droop to go.
Now rather than order an extended hose kit at what £100?, I opted to unbolt the upper bracket and fashion a little
drop down bracket out of some 3mm thick plate;
The simple plate drops the top mount by 2.5" and the standard length hose would now be quite happy if both rear wheels
were ever off the ground together.
I've used these same rear shockers for probably 8 years now (they were on my old 80) and can't really believe this
hasn't been noticed before? Sorted now anyway.
