Sorry to hear that Karl i've been there too many times , there's nothing you can do and it will never make sense .
Great rider Shane and I havnt heard the full story yet. It happens though.
Ill still always have one just have to keep your head together.
Great weather for it Andy![]()
I love fast bikes. Pull the throttle back, look down at the speedo and with in seconds your doing 80-90mph!![]()
Guys your supporting the myth that bikes are dangerous because there fast . I'd say 99% of bike accidents result from an error that has nothing to do with the rider , mechanical failure or diesel spills or "i didn't see him" quickly followed up with the instinctive defense "he must have been going very fast" .
Speed and the power of bikes can also get you out of bother though Chas.
They are great and you really get a feeling of freedom when on them. The buzz of the power is crazy.
I'll echo that. Unfortunately back in 2004 I suffered a stroke which luckily (compared to some) has left me relatively unscathed apart from a slight loss of balance so I thought stopping biking was probably a good idea. I could still ride OK but I figured in an emergency it could be a problem.there's a sensation you get on a bike that I can't recreate doing anything else.
