TLC HJ61 total reconditioning

 hope i didn't cause you too much work with that suggestion mate .

No worries mate. I have subscribed to this forum because I am an amateur. I have done some studies in automotive technology but not the greatest. I appreciate all the comments, positive and negative so I can learn and apply in every-way I can.

And that is why you are one of the most professional amateurs on here Oding. [emoji4]

The plate or box that will cover the harness from the pillar to the roof rack is now finished and fits well. Next will be to paint this with a darker body color. The wiring harness will be rerouted so it wont be visible from the front angle..

All the wiring and rewiring took up all my time since last week. Finally, the A/C is done. As of to date, 99% of electrical is completed. Lights and switches are on the making. Hopefully it would be done this week.

I have lost a lot of pictures that I have posted. Are you guys experiencing the same thing? I hope it can be corrected.

Just scrolled through the whole thread, most of the pictures aren't there anymore.

oh dear. :(

That looks a bit grim. Leave it with me - I will try redo the import on your thread. Something bad has obviously happened

right, @oding - it's fixable but will take me a short while. What ever you do do not not edit any of the posts or touch the folders in photobucket. Leaving everything as it is is the best option. If you try fix it then we might lose it all together.

Give me a few hours and I'll sort it out for you.

Going to take a bit longer than I expected. It looks like something happened a while ago and not actually part of the change-over. I can see the same problem on the old forum.

I'm restoring the backup from just after your last post - hopefully I can get somethig out of that.

Thank you very much Crispin.

After the system upgrade and a lot of my pictures missing, I thought should I continue or wait for the pictures to be retrieved and get fixed. I have moved on to installing the rest of the dash.

I hope by adding new files, I don't disrupt Crispin in resolving the issue.

Great to see the white plastic light units in the bag on the first picture Odin! Made me smile to see that they travelled from Wales to you! :)

Did the dash loom connect up ok?

I am sorry to see the problem with your pictures. I am sure that this will iron out in the end!

All the best iwan

Your dash loom was not compatible with my unit. Your unit is a RHD while we are LHD here in the Philippines. But nonetheless, I used whatever I can. My fault in not knowing ahead of time before I closed the deal with you. Maybe next time.

I have been far away from where I left off. Last post was on April 30. Had done so much including repair on the missing pics on this thread. I am going to posts some pics that I took while I did the repairs.

Looking good Oding, sorry 'bout the pics but Cris will do all he can...

The dash looks good, it's very hard to get an old dash looking OK, especially in photos, and yours does.

When mine looks clean in "the flesh" a photo of it looks dreadful :?
