Tools Bargain

 That's an insane quantity of tools

Lotto  :) ;)

Amazing. Now where's the MRS cheque book

wow!
If I owned that lot i would never get a repair job done, it would take 2 days to decide and find the right tool for the job!

Does it have a short stumpy screw driver? I always needed on of those. If not, not interested :snooty:

brave man to start the bidding at 99p...

:o That's just "tool box porn"
I guess if they can be directly linked to Colin McCray and varified then that should add a lot of value just as a collectors item (items)

Was watching that item (not bidding, I wish  ) where did you get the Colin McCray connection, did I miss something :confusion-confused:

£33950

Might be shot down here but why would you need all those tools? (even if you do fix F1 cars)
Who would, and why, have tools like that (other than aforementioned F1 mech...)

Went for £33,950 in the end..

when you read the questions and answers, he did say that some of the kit was from Colin McCrae's mechanic.

I would say they were probably bought for re-selling on eBay. I did think of that myself, but where would I find £34 grand

And chewing gum or just toast crumbs? ;)

Whoever bought that lot is going to be making a very tidy profit if they break it into small lots and sell it on ebay.

That's just a ridiculously massive amount he's spent on tools, the insurance man must be very relieved now.
