Does anyone understand the preheating system of a 1kzt engine with a mechanical fuel pump.
A few years ago I replaced the old 2lt engine with a 1kzt. I remember that the 2lt had a coolant temperature sensor that gave a signal to the glowplugs when and how much they would be activated.
I can't find such a sensor on 1kzt.
The engine starts perfectly and the glowplugs work perfectly, but it happens that even when the engine is hot, they work for the same period of time and after starting the engine they continue to work for about half a minute.
