I'm taking a few days next week to go over to the UK for some touring around with the better half! Plan is to get ferry into Liverpool on wednesday and go for Manchester that night. After that were heading south, calling into TBR to pick up asfir plates and Arbil for a snorkel!
Now we've never been over green laning, but planning on trying some tame lanes and wild camping where possible!
Im aware that some lanes are in the limelight and want to steer clear of any troubled areas or annoying anyone do can anyone suggest best place to pick up the relevant maps around Manchester area or what sites to visit to get rules and routes that we can travel?
I have a good selection of the TOR magazines with the road books in them and was thinking of trying a few of them as they are mostly non damaging lanes!
Would love to meet up with anyone who is thinking of a leisurely spin next weekend around the Wales area?
